BUY THIS!!! Do NOT rebuild carb

I still can't believe how inexpensive this was. 😲I have a 20 year old Craftsman 4.5 HP yard machine that was in good shape EXCEPT for the carburetor. Watched about 5 YouTube videos on how to rebuild a Tecumseh carburetor and then stumbled across a comment that mentioned getting a complete new one. Had my doubts but took a chance. Unit came in a bout a week. Took the old carb off and installed new one. Reconnected the gas line and linkage. Pulled the cord (once) and instant gratification!! BTW - not a mechanic at all.

Exact Replacement

Exact replacement for the gummed up carburetor on my Craftsman yard vac/wood chipper. Way cheaper and faater than rebuilding the one that was on it.

only way to go

first time at buying a carburetor for a small engine, usually I just clean them or buy a carburetor kit and rebuild but not any more, I couldn't get the carburetor that I had set right and it would leak gas because of the float not being set right so after taking it on and off 5 times to adjust the problem I decided to look at the price of a new one and boy was I surprised because I picked this one up for less then a kit and my time and being skeptical I figured it would not fit or I would have to adjust the settings but I put it on and pulled the rope and it started and ran better then the old original carburetor and I didn't have to touch a thing it was already set.The only thing that took me time was finding the right carburetor, the unit I have is old and not listed so I had to look at a lot of pictures before I found the one I thought would work and glad I did because after this I don't think I will ever rebuild one again.
