Carburetor for MTD 753-05251, WYL-242

Pretty good deal . I ordered 3 of them . The first one did not work at all. Tried to get it work with out much luck and, at first was a bit worried. Then, installed a new second carb and, viola! Thing starts and runs better than when new. Seriously, the new carbs have a mixture adj. screw ( which the original did not have) and once you adjust it your weed wackier will have more power than when new. Great deal, but I suggest purchasing more than you think you need so that you can compensate for cheap Chinese manufacturing of these carbs. Some will work, others will not. Just Chuck the duds and keep right on going.

Not a direct match for TBE515 edger. Throttle cable connection is different but you can’t see that in Amazon photo. Can’t just pull the brass connection as the hole is a different size. Had to swap in my original throttle control into replacement carb.

Fits and functions well.

Easy to installed, reasonable price, fixed my problem.
