Cost effective awesome replacement

Awesome cheap replacement for the money. Worked great

Works very well but had to make modifications.

Purchased for a Crafsman chain saw which is a Poulan. Was supposed to work on the model I had, I did need to make one modification. Thee was a rod on top of the carb. that was about 2 inches long, when putting the cover on the unit and then I attempted to pull the throttle open, the 2 inch long linkage rod would hit. I have no idea why it was so long. I cut 3/4 inch off and it worked perfectly. Saw runs beautifully and started easily only had to do some minor carb. adjustment. EVERYTHING ID ROSEY NOW. All repairs don’t work out as expected

Carburetor was a day late which was not a big deal. It also required making a change in the cover to allow the throttle to work properly. Unfortunately, the replacement was not successful as the last exact one was. Could have been operator error.

HITS COVER

Good bang for the buck. You WILL have to modify the top cover to keep the linkage from hitting. You have to trim about an 1/8 inch wide and 3 inch long piece off the right side of the top cover right before the back retaining screw(see pic). If you don't do it, the choke will not fully engage and the linkage will rub at W.O.T. The carb itself bolted up and the only adjustment I had to make was to the high speed screw with the provided adjustment tool.
