Works as described

Works as described. My woodchipper is still munching leaves and branches after about 2 years. Remember to spray starting fluid if you want to store for the winter The gas nowadays has a small % of WATER that damages the carb

Runs Like a New Engine

Installed the new carb on an engine that would only run on choke, even after cleaning and re-gasketing the old one. Started on 2nd pull and runs strong. Worth every penny.

Leaked

Briggs Carb 498298 in OEM carton. The carburetor leaked at the diaphram cover. I had to use the cover from the old carburetor. Expected Briggs quality for the price and that it is OEM. I could have bought a cheap $25 after market, but I wanted OEM quality.
