Not a 100% fit.

Spindles dropped right in and bolted up. The split hub that goes on top which the pulley slides onto and tightens did not fit. I was very reluctant to do this, but I filed down the tops with a file and Emory cloth as I spun the spindle with an impact gun until they slid on. Everything tightened up nice after that. Just a lot more work. Used on a 32 Encore walk behind which the manual called for this spindle.

Pop-up valve question

The part seems to be the same as the old spindle,however the new part has a spring loaded pop up valve??? on the lower side of the housing. This is not present on the old assembly. Is it to allow grease to escape or what????. That is the only question for me at this time.The shipping was fine and quick product arrived with no damage
