Handle snapped off as soon as I installed. It works though but now cannot cycle the choke
This was a perfect fit for my Ariens snow blower with the StormForce engine. Replacing the carburetor was very easy and took just a few minutes. The snow blower started on the first pull after installation.
Perfect fit, all gaskets included. Replaced on snow thrower and it started right up.
It works. Just buy it and be happy
I have a Sno-Tek 920402 snow thrower with the LCT 208cc engine. This is the correct carb for that engine. Be careful you con't get a carb that is identical in every way except for the choke linkage. That is what I did when I bought the "HOOAI Carburetor for Ariens 20001368". The choke linkage sticks straight up rather than taking the 90 degree angle like this carb. I returned the HOOAI and bought this. If you want to see this same carb from other manufacturers search for "LCT 03022", which is the LCT part number for this carb. There are no jets to adjust on this. You just install it, hook up the linkage, flood the carb and start it up. In my case I had to remove the spark plug and shoot some starting fluid directly into the cylinder. I always have trouble starting it for the first time in the season, but this is the first time I had to resort to starting fluid. After I got it running I was back to my standard starting procedure: push primer twice, full choke, 1 pull. Runs great.

I have a 16 year old Troy Bilt 5550 watt generator that would not start. I factory carburetor part number is no longer manufactured. This Oakten 591378 is the replacement part number. I installed the new Oakten carburetor today and the generator started up on the very first pull and it now runs perfect again.
Works great just like the old one.
part seems high quality, but the bolt holes are smooth. They are not threaded and have not been pre-tapped.
The product description mentioned nothing about having to tap these holes prior to installation and so now I can’t even install the product… I specifically bought this because i wanted higher quality than something from overseas… I would’ve liked to have known it needed machining prior to installation.
Not quite the correct length, worked with minor modification.
Works well and fits well. Quick shipping and packaged well.
