i didnt drain the fuel out of my yard machine chipper before winter and the throttle valve was rusted in place. i couldnt source a carb locally so i gave this a shot. bolted right up, however the choke lever is shorter than the previous one so i had to trim it so it wouldnt interfere with the air filter housing, no biggie (you can see in the pic how close it is after i trimmed it). 2 pulls and it fired right up and has been doing great since. if the choke lever was removable and i could swap my old on on, then i would have given it 5 stars, but for the price i have no complaints. the motor was a briggs and stratton 5.5hp
