swapped out and engine started right up w/o any adjustment needed.

New unit looked exactly like the old one on my old Craftsman brand Tecumseh powered chipper/shredder. I did notice that the carb was overfilling at first. I thought about it, then pumped the primer bulb a few times and it seemed to stop overfilling. Assuming the valve wasn't seated prior to using the primer bulb. Finished up connecting it all up, and it started on the second pull.
