Wrong shaft size

Manufactured well but the shaft was the wrong size so I will only rate it3 stars

These spindles are garbage!

I ordered these spindles for my scag mower. They bolted up fine and looked fine. After installing all 3 spindles I found 1 of them was bent! I couldn't get the bolt through that holds the blade. I tried all 3 bolts but none would go through the spindle. I removed that spindle and replaced it with one of the ones I took off. After greasing them and cutting grass for 6hrs 1 of the remaining 2 spindles had grease coming out the bottom of the spindle! I will NOT be using these again.

Perfect Replacement...

I am all about using OEM parts on my vehicles and power equipment, but for the money and time - this replacement spindle fit the bill. Mowing season is critical as I have better than four plus acres. I can't afford to be down for even a week during the growing season. To be sure - OEM replacement spindle assemblies were readily available at over $200 a piece plus the two-hour round-trip. I received this replacement the next day and was ready to get back to mowing in less than an hour. This replacement will buy me the time I need to be able to rebuild the OEM spindle, thus giving me a spare to have on hand for way less than the $200 plus dollars and drive-time it was going to cost me. The dimensions were exact to the OEM which is always a concern in keeping that perfect mowing height. I couldn't be happier with it so far...

Would recommend and will buy again!

This part was a perfect replacement for the spindles on my 2000 model Scag 48" cut! Very well made and heavy duty! Plus much friendlier to my wallet than dealer item! Received very quickly !

Not a perfect-fit replacement for Scag 461663

1. The quantity of "extra" threads at the bottom of the Raisman spindle shaft, caused the blade to be mounted about 1/4" lower than the other 2 blades (which still have the original Scag spindles).2. The Raisman keyway is machined a bit too wide, and makes the fit of the key too sloppy.3. When I applied grease (with my hand greasegun) for the first time on this Raisman spindle (before I installed it), the top seal pushed out the top; I tried to push it back in but am unsure if it's back in its proper position. This shouldn't happen, since there's a grease pressure relief fitting on the spindle assembly.
