Somebody put this homelite 26b blower out for trash pick up.The tank smelled like old gas.I thought I'd try to fix it. I got the new carb after checking starter pull, compression, and spark. I figured a new carb for 17 bones was better than 7 bucks on a can of carb cleaner and then buying a carb anyway. The carb went on easy. I only used one gasket of the 2 supplied....the one on the air box side. I left the piston side gasket in place. It had plenty of life left. Once the carb was on good I put the mix fuel in the tank. I've been using "no etahanol" fuel lately. It fired up as per the starting protocol.. no problem. Tested the blower 15 minutes... all good. The kit comes with extra fuel line, primer bulbs, and weighted filter. I recommend this carb kit for this Homelite 26b blower.
