easy to install worked well with other side no special tools needed and totally sealed bearing should last a life of the lawn mower

So so build quality

Casting is a little rough. Also, the holes were not tapped for the 5/16th bolts. There are eight total holes in the flange. The four holes in the bosses were drilled smaller and should have been tapped like on the original OEM part. The four holes without bosses were drilled for 5/16th bolts so rather than trying to tap the flange I put the bolts in the unreinforced holes. It will probably hold up just fine and my mower operates perfectly, but it is indicative of the lack of care and quality control on this part.All that said, the bearings spin well and seem free of play. The part works fine, I just had to work around and use some nylok nuts and locking washers on 5/16th bolts instead of threading directly into flange like the original part.

The Oregon 82-493 Spindle Assembly is a great buy. no hassle and easy to replace.the mounting bolts need flat washers and lock washers and nuts.they work Beautifully. if and when you need these I also replaced the blades also.
